Customer Service - by Joel Arnold, TTNLearning

In this economic climate, customer service continues to reign supreme. Because of that, I’d like to give you a real life example of superior customer service; I’d like to tell you about our real estate agent, Doris. Although my wife and I are just one of her many customers, she feels like a friend. She bought Girl Scout cookies from my daughter. She sends us a personalized Christmas card every year. She calls us by our first name – she even knows our kids’ names! When we’ve had special requests, she does everything she can to fulfill them. And while it feels like we have our own personal real estate agent who does nothing but wait for our call, we know that she goes the extra mile for all of her customers. As a representative of her company, she’s turned a possibly impersonal entity into a friendly face. Not only do we recommend her to all of our friends, but you can also bet we’ll turn to her whenever we’re in the real estate market. And that’s great business!

For more great advice and tips on customer service, check out Brian Tracy’s “Customers for Life”, Don Hutson’s “The Attitude of Servitude”, or any of the other customer service courses provided by TTN Learning.
