CONGRATULATIONS JIM SANKEY! During the month of October, TTN offered a Customer Service Week contest called Messes and Successes. We asked for your best and/or worst customer service stories. Thank you to all TTN users that sent us their entries. We are proud to announce Jim Sankey from American Greetings as our 1st place winner. Enjoy his winning entry! SERVICE IN THE SNOW Well, I have a couple of situations that I think best describes the types of individuals we have in this area of the country working as associates for American Greetings, and their commitment to do anything to get the job done on time and most efficiently. Years ago we had a severe snowstorm, where most everything you know was going to be shutdown, but, you know some retail stores had to give it a go, regardless of the situation. Cold and Flu Season Has Arrived! - by Joel Arnold, TTNLearning According to the Center for Disease Control, infectious
diseases cost the U.S. $120 billion a year. Now that cold and flu season
is rearing it’s sniffling head, here are a few simple, common sense tips
to keep your workplace sneezes to a minimum. Your desk, computer keyboard
and phone are great places for germs to congregate, so make sure to wipe
them down occasionally with a disinfecting wipe, especially if you eat at
your desk. Your coffee mug and water glass provide another oasis for
germs. Make sure to wash these often with warm, soapy water. Keep an
alcohol-based hand sanitizer nearby and use generously throughout the day. |
